Hooray! Recently we surpassed 1,000 page-hits in a single day. That may not seem like much for most sites, but with the understandably limited potential readership of flyingcracker that is actually quite a nice total. Our first foray above 1,000 occurred Tuesday October 25th when we hit 1,095. The next day we raised the bar to 1,563. Three weeks later on Sunday November 12 we had 1,034 hits. Then on Tuesday November 14, 2006 we really spiked at 1,816 page hits. Later in the month we had another nice bump - Monday 11/27 at 1,065 followed by a day with 1700 hits and then tapering off. Unique visits per day is ranging between 400 - 500. It didn't take much intelligence to solve this puzzle... the page-hit spikes start approximately one day before a predicted big storm, and continue through to the end of the storm.
In response to which we say, "thanks". The realization that 400 - 500 people depend on flyingcracker for reliable and accurate weather forecasts and current conditions humbles us. Thank you for trusting flyingcracker.com and thanks for your support. As always, we welcome your comments and suggestions here.
